Bumping

How bumping works — free, manual, Discord-only, every 2 hours.

Bumping pushes your server to the top of its category and recent listings. It's the single highest-leverage thing you can do to grow.

The rules

  • Free, forever. Bumping is never paywalled.
  • Manual only. You run the /bump command yourself. Automated or scripted bumping is prohibited and will delist your server.
  • 2-hour cooldown. Per server. The bot tells you exactly when you can bump again.
  • Discord-only. Bumping is intentionally not available via the website, the API, the SDK, or the MCP server — it must come from inside your Discord server. This keeps ranking fair.

How to bump

In your server, run:

/bump

You'll get a confirmation embed with your new category rank, the next bump time, and a button to set a reminder. When the cooldown ends, run it again.

Reminders

Run /remind (or tap Remind me on the bump embed) and the bot will DM you the moment bumping is ready again. Bumping during your audience's peak hours is the most effective habit on the platform.

Anti-abuse

Bumps are rate-limited and risk-scored server-side. Forcing or rewarding members to bump, using multiple accounts, or running bump bots all violate our policies.
