Getting started

Introduction

What Discapedia is, and the principles it's built on.

Discapedia is a directory of Discord communities — a place to discover servers worth your time, and for owners to get discovered. It pairs DISBOARD-style free, manual bumping with real design, fast search, AI-first moderation, and an honest ad network.

Principles

These aren't marketing lines — they're enforced in code:

  • Bumping is manual and free. Every server can bump to the top of its category every 2 hours, via Discord only. No automation, no paying to skip the cooldown.
  • Sponsored is always labeled. Ads exist and are clearly marked. They never silently outrank organic results.
  • NSFW is gated. Adult communities must mark themselves 18+ and only appear in opt-in inventory.
  • Moderation is explainable. Every AI decision is logged with its evidence and is appealable.
